Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN/RPN provides accurate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. An ability to communicate effectively with families and the health care team is required. he individual must possess a progressive and innovative approach to long term care.
Required Qualifications
IT WILL BE DESIRABLE IF YOU POSSESS A KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRINCIPLES, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN PERFORMING NURSING SERVICES RELATING TO THE CARE OF PATIENTS IN LONG TERM CARE. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
