Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of Patient Care in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Additional Information

It will be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing Nursing Services relating to the care of Patients in a Post Anaesthesia Care Unit. 2-5 years surgical PACU, Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
