Retention Fund

Physicians who build long-term careers in Saskatchewan are rewarded with increasing annual payments over time.

This fund provides annual entitlements based on years of practice in the province. Physicians with 0 to 10 years of practice receive $7,000 per full-time fiscal year or $3,500 part-time. Those with 11 to 20 years receive $10,500 full-time or $5,250 part-time. Physicians with 21 or more years receive $14,000 full-time or $7,000 part-time.
