Saskatoon Open Door Society Award
Members of our Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency (SHRA) were honoured to be nominated for an award sponsored by TD at the 10th Annual Diversity Awards Gala hosted by the Saskatoon Open Door Society. An amazing evening of colour, music, food and celebration was capped off by being named the recipient of the Workplace Diversity, Inclusion and Leadership Award for small enterprise. We were thrilled to have SHRA Board Chair and Deputy Minister of Health Tracey Smith join us.
Receiving this honour is a tribute to the work we have done over the last two years toward supporting the integration and settlement of new healthcare workers to Saskatchewan in communities across our province. But it also belongs to all our partners in healthcare and communities around Saskatchewan working hard to offer newcomers a warm welcome, find suitable housing and family supports, and feel at home so that we can retain the physicians and healthcare professionals coming to our province for the opportunity to build a career and better life.
