Oxbow Prairie Horizons School (OPHS) is a modern Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 school that serves Oxbow and surrounding communities in a bright, innovative learning environment. Built in 2010-2011, the school features modern classrooms with integrated technology, large gymnasiums, science labs, arts and drama spaces, a Learning Commons and outdoor learning and play areas. Students benefit from strong academic programming, including literacy and numeracy development, comprehensive high school courses in sciences, trades and technology, as well as distance learning and dual-credit opportunities. OPHS also offers inclusive learning supports, school counselling services and a wide range of extracurricular activities including athletics, arts, leadership programs and student clubs.
