Start working as a Continuing Care Assistant now. You have up to 2 years to complete an SHA recognized certificate program. The Continuing Care Assistant certificate program is offered in a variety of locations throughout Saskatchewan, in addition to online/distance.

Continuing Care Assistants have been called “the eyes and ears of the frail and vulnerable.” You need to be a caring, patient person, with a positive attitude and good people skills. Your most important asset is a desire to improve the quality of life for others. The ideal candidate is someone who has work or volunteer experience caring for others.
