Sunrise: LIVE

|
Sunrise Health Region stretches from the breathtaking beauty of the Qu'Appelle Valley to
the northern boreal forest, and from the bountiful parklands of the Manitoba border into
the rich Saskatchewan prairie farmlands.
There is a continental climate, characterized by temperatures
that vary greatly between seasons. In summer, there are frequent clear skies resulting in an
abundance of sunshine. From the warmth of the summer to a blanket of winter white snow, Saskatchewan
offers a diverse climate.
The quality of life in Sunrise is high while the cost of living is low. Reasonable housing,
utility, and tax costs, along with low transportation and other living costs result in an
affordable cost of living.
Kindergarten to Grade 12 educational programs are delivered by
the Good Spirit
School Division, and Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools. Post secondary programs
are delivered by the Parkland Regional College, brokers for programs offered by the
University of Regina, the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST).
